Reproduction in Plants

Wind-Pollinated Flowers

Flowers pollinated by wind usually release a large amount of pollen grains to increase the chances of some landing on a stigma successfully for pollination to occur!

Animal-Pollinated Flowers

Flowers pollinated by animals have to first attract the animals to approach them – usually by means of brightly-coloured petals, sweet scents or offering a tasty sip of nectar!
